Our journey began when our founders, Sarah and Michael, noticed the positive impact that even a single plant had on their small apartment. Recognizing the growing desire for natural elements in urban living spaces, they combined Sarah's horticultural expertise with Michael's design background to create a plant business that emphasizes both beauty and wellbeing.

With a Master's in Botany from the University of Sydney and five years at the Royal Botanic Garden, Sarah brings unparalleled expertise to plant selection and care. Her particular passion lies in tropical species that thrive in indoor environments, and she personally inspects every plant variety before it joins our collection.
Michael Dawson
Co-Founder & Creative Director
With a background in interior design and environmental sustainability, Michael oversees UrbanLeaf's distinctive aesthetic and customer experience. His design philosophy centers on biophilic principles that seamlessly integrate plants into modern Australian homes. Michael leads our styling consultations and shop layout.
Olivia Patel
Customer Experience Manager
Olivia ensures every customer interaction with UrbanLeaf exceeds expectations.
